Initial vetting includes face to face meetings

We want our candidates’ motivations and aspirations to be the right fit for the clients we serve, not just the job description for the role we’re working on at the moment. Communication will begin with an initial telephone conversation with the candidate, to understand their career aspirations, current skill levels, and motivations before we begin discussing a particular role. We meet our candidates face to face, to discuss their CV and skill set in more detail, and to understand their personality and assess their fit to your culture. Unlike times past, where roles in banking required an understanding of one specific area in silo, our client base often requires candidates to learn new topics quickly. When we meet our candidates, we don’t just find out what they know, but also how they like to learn, and what they’re interested in. We find that candidates are more likely to succeed in a role, and to stay with a client for longer, if their approach to learning fits the culture of the client.
