A specialist global provider of outsourced corporate, fund and private client administration, reporting, and fiduciary services is looking for a Compliance Manager to join their team based in Jersey. This role is available on a temporary or permanent basis.
To perform a full range of risk and compliance tasks including assistance with provision of a compliance framework to all regulated entities, in order to support both the Head of Risk & Compliance and assist the business, operate in accordance with its legal and regulatory obligations, comply with the Codes of Practice; and meet industry best practice. Strong technical legal and regulatory knowledge, along with solid Trust and Funds management experience is pre-requisite. Will act as MLRO, MLCO and Compliance Officer.
Key Competencies / Skills / Experience / Behaviours Required:
- Risk & Compliance experience, minimum 5 years demonstrated experience
- Solid understanding of both the Trust Company Codes of Practice, Funds Services Business Code of Practice and Certified Funds Code of Practice
- Practical experience and understanding of the application of the Money Laundering (Jersey) Order 2008, Proceeds of Crime (Jersey) Law 1999, Terrorism (Jersey) Law 2002, AML CFT Handbook and other related legislation, standards and codes of practice
